Around 5th 6th grade, all I did was eat junk food and play computer games all day. My family and friends made fun of my size as a joke, but I took it personally. I realized that I needed to make a change, a big one. After watching countless films of my favorite martial artists Bruce Lee, I wanted to be just like him. He had the physique that I yearned for. I did track and cross country throughout high school and lost massive weight but I thought I was too skinny. My freshman year of college, I worked hard and gained 35 lbs. I went from 135lbs to 170lbs. I gained a lot of mass, muscle, and strength thanks to Seung Shin, Ryan Honey, Justin Santiago, and Jason Stahl. However, I realized one problem, I was still out of shape. Although I was a lot bigger and stronger, my endurance and flexibility was horrible. I hardly lasted 5 minutes playing basketball with my friends or couldnt walk up stairs without gasping. I still needed a change, an extreme change. I went to P90x. I thought this infomercial was a scam at first but as I looked into the work out and programs, I couldnt find any problems with it. I worked hard in the past 90 days. I was a bit skeptical at first but after viewing You Tube Before & After results…it got me! I tried to follow the diet plan but coz of my lifestyle…work and everything…i couldn’t follow it to the ‘T’. so i just tried eating healthier. I wasn’t in any rush to lose weight and I love food! I do believe that my results would’ve been much better if I did follow the diet all the way through. But I’m happy with the result regardless. Up to this day…I’m still bringing it!

My kids love getting involved during our workouts (which is awesome!), and they wanted to take some pictures during one of our Plyo X sessions and one of our Yoga X sessions. Video description: Thanks for viewing my P90X Transformation Video. P90X is a great workout and is very challenging when you push yourself. The diet rivals the workout and is comprised of an excellent formula for an extreme fitness program. I would recommend P90X to anyone serious about getting extremely fit. I wanted the lean ripped look for Round 1 of P90X. You can go for mass and do a cutting phase at the end but that wasn’t my goal. I’ll be going for a slight increase in mass for Round 2. P90X is the real deal and can be a great tool for you. I used EAS whey protein powder, Accelerade (recovery drink), Clif protein bars and a standard vitamin to get through the program. I also changed my diet completely to match those in the nutrition guide.

But I’m back in the game again- doing the classic version this time, and just completed my first 30 days of it. I’m working out with my husband this time around, and he’s doing such an awesome job with it. It’s great having him there to motivate me as well! He’s already seen some great results in his belly and his back, as well as upper body muscle growth. I still plan on losing about 4 or 5 more percent bodyfat, and gaining a bit more muscle in my legs and abs by the end of this next 90 days. Can’t wait for the results!
