Chest, shoulders and Tris are a good "push" exercise. Though you might find that seperating the "push" muscles would be more effective.

The "crash" that you experience might be because you are training the same muscles groups. By the time you get to your triceps they are exhausted because they have been working so much for the chest workouts.

Maybe try chest and Biceps. Two muscle groups unrelated.

Keep up the good work!

Making it fun is great advice. I'm going to try that tomorrow!

I'm only on Day 2 of my P90X ... I used to be an elite athlete (chubby now!) and this is hard stuff. Keep up the hard work... It's inspiring!

Here are a few ways to help heal a pulled muscle.

1. Rest. Avoid doing anything that makes it hurt.

2. Stretch. Stretch lightly.

3. Ice. Ice the area after working out.

4. Heat. Heat the area before working out.

Ouch. I've done that and it is not fun. Hope you heal quickly. When we did the P90 Master Series there is one set of lateral lunges that always made me pull a groin muscle. I finally resolved to just skip the stupid thing. Might have to try that again to see if it is better now.
