P90x Day 33: Legs & Back, Ab Ripper X

Today’s P90x Legs & Back workout went alright besides me pulling a muscle in my leg.  It happened during one of the many lunges that are in this workout.  I think I lunged to far for my hamstring to handle.  It affected my performance during the rest of the workout, and made Ab Ripper X a little more difficult as well.  Overall though, I was able to make it through them and still get a great workout.

Ouch. I’ve done that and it is not fun. Hope you heal quickly. When we did the P90 Master Series there is one set of lateral lunges that always made me pull a groin muscle. I finally resolved to just skip the stupid thing. Might have to try that again to see if it is better now.

Here are a few ways to help heal a pulled muscle.

    1. Rest. Avoid doing anything that makes it hurt.

    2. Stretch. Stretch lightly.

    3. Ice. Ice the area after working out.

    4. Heat. Heat the area before working out.
