P90x Day 45: HALFWAY Through P90x!

I didn’t eat a whole lot at all today. I did great at the beginning of the P90x Chest, Shoulders & Triceps workout, but towards the end I crashed and wasn’t able to do better than last time.

Working on getting a regular sleep schedule to help me perform better.

I really did not want to do Ab Ripper X today. I wish I could say I love working out and that it is my favorite thing to do, but that’s not the truth.  Some days I love working out, some days I hate it.  I know that if I give myself any slack, P90x could easily end up tucked away somewhere collecting dust.

Ab Ripper was hard.  My energy was spent from shoulder and triceps so I was really struggling.  My #1 goal for all the workouts is to make it through them and do what I can, so I was still happy once it was over.

What also makes me happy is that I am officially halfway through P90x! It’s been a hard, but fun ride and I am really looking forward to day 90!

Chest, shoulders and Tris are a good “push” exercise. Though you might find that seperating the “push” muscles would be more effective.

The “crash” that you experience might be because you are training the same muscles groups. By the time you get to your triceps they are exhausted because they have been working so much for the chest workouts.

Maybe try chest and Biceps. Two muscle groups unrelated.

    Keep up the good work!
